Consequence of inaction
Here’s one before your Easter break and it’s an important one. Many recruiters don’t use the consequence of inaction and follow though but it’s a good test to know when people are serious or not or something else is in the way.
Let me give you a real world example by when a manager is nog goving you feedback and another week has passed. If you havent set a deadline already you need to say to the manager if you dont feedback by xx date (few more days) then you’ll be letting the candidiates know ifs closed. You need to be up front and tell the candidiates what you’re doing wnd they will appreciate you for it. You’ll soon know if the hiring manager is serious or not.
